December 31st, 1999. So much about this photo blows my mind. I have bangs. And braces. I was wearing baggy jeans. And it was taken ten years ago, when my dad’s digital camera looked like a heavy piece of machinery.

But that’s not the point. Not only is my first taste of alcohol documented on film (k that’s a lie. This was the first drink my parents actually handed to me) but it happened when I was 11. Yep.

And with that night, my love affair with Veuve Cliquot Champagne began. Good times.

My new favorite thing is watching people I went to high school with try to start their modeling careers on facebook. I’m pretty sure this particular shoot involved a lot of meth maybe?
